Repair Request Builder

Once you have received your inspection report, you might be wondering how to share the portions that you want the seller to address without having to share the entire report. Luckily, we have a tool to help you with that. This same tool is useful if you are interested in scheduling a repair check appointment for items that were addressed after the inspection appointment.

When viewing your inspection report, there is a small drop down menu in the top right hand corner of the first page of your report. Clicking on that menu will open our report tools and you’ll be able to select the “Repair Request Builder” option. Once you have clicked on that, it will take you to a screen where you will find the deficiencies that were listed on your report. When you are viewing the deficiencies, there will be a checkmark at the top, left corner of each item. This allows you to select the items that you want to share with another party, while excluding the items you do not want to share.

Once you have selected the desired items, scroll back to the top of the page and click on “Create”. Once created, a window will pop up that allows you to copy the link to the Repair Request List, or you will have the option to send it to someone via text or email. This can be provided to a seller or a builder without having to share the entire inspection report. If the list is being created for the purpose of scheduling a repair check appointment, this will be a huge help in facilitating the process. If you find that you need further assistance with the Repair Request Builder, don’t hesitate to reach out to us!
